Round 3 Match Report

U/15-1 TIGERS 22 Ashcroft 8

This was a game that would see us up against a side that hadn’t been beaten in 18 months and last year’s premiers of division 1. We started well by scoring early under the post with the mumma move very executed by Jake Ryan and finished off by Adam Alphabet giving us a 6 nil led we then kicked a penalty goal from 35 out and causing the Ashcroft bench to get upset. We then scored from a solo scrum move and solo scored it. On the half time bell they scored out wide due to our outside backs not moving up however it left us leading 12 – 4. Our completion rate was near perfect being 9 from 11. We came back from the halftime break and let them get over us for a while but not letting them across our line. Our completion rate was crap in this half 5-12 however we managed to score a couple of good tries and they again only scored from our mistake. We are starting to jell as a side and can go far if we keep our heads and train harder and smarter overall a great game with us playing mostly to our game plain.
