U/6 TIGERS 28 ASHCROFT 20

Well what a top performance this week by the entire U/6 boy's with a good win 28 to 20 over Ashcroft. We all still need to work on our tackling a bit more but we will get there. All the boy's looked like they were having lots of fun playing football out there this weekend. Man of the match trophy this week went to Sam with a solid effort in attack and defence. The tackling trophy this week went to Brock who pulled of sum tremendous tackles showing lots of courage. So remember boy's lets just keep having lots of fun and see you all next week at training. Tries to: Braiden, Sam, Rhys and Dean. U/7 TIGERS 26 CAMPBELLTOWN CITY 22

Congratulation to Brent, Brendan and Zade for kicking the goals.
Our Medallion goes to Brent for scoring a try and kicking a goal for the team a big thanks for never giving up.
Our McDonald’s Award goes to Kieran for scoring his 1st ever try and what a good try it was.

I was very please with all the boys with the majority saving 1 or two try’s and a HIGH 5 to Josh Walker after copping an Elbow in the 1st ten minutes set his sights on a fairdinkum awesome display to a true grit forwards game. Other plers included Darnell Kato (1 try and one disallowed), Craig Calvert (2 Try’s), and goals to Tui Leatigaga & Josh Walker concluded our 16 points, we as the coaching staff are looking forward to all future rounds due to the fact, we feel the boys are improving and will be up there come Semi Finals time.

U/8-4 TIGERS 22 LCC 0

The boys fourth win for the year was the result of some super defence. Matthew, Brandon, Bailey and Bryson really stepped up this week with some superb tackling. A try saving tackle from Blake on the sideline ensured LCC didn't cross our line. Three try’s in the first third got the boys off to a strong start, however our error rate this week kept LCC in the game as we continued to turn over possession. A penalty against LCC in the final third and a super kick for touch from Bryson led to our final try and wrapped up the match. We need to start playing with more structure boys and show the football more respect. Try’s: Isaac 2 James 1, and Blake 1Goals James, Blake and Isaac. Man of Match: Matthew Encouragement: Bryson U/9-1 TIGERS 6 MAC FIELDS 16

Firstly let me say how proud i was of all the boys on Saturday we come up against last years premiers and for most of the game i think the hawks were in shock. Every time we have played them in the past we have been on the wrong end of some big defeats, not this time .We took a 6 - 4 lead into the 2nd half but just could not hold on we made a few simple errors late in the half and they took advantage .I would almost bet my house on the next game, we proved that we are no longer intimidated by them LOOK OUT HAWKS NEXT GAME. Blake, Kane and Saffron ran the ball hard all day and were well backed up by Brendan, Siosaia and Brad. Bailey and Josh once again organised the ruck very well, Josh’s kicking was extremely
accurate and Bailey scored a great try that totally confused hawkies big boys. Harry, Chris, Jacob, Corban and Jade did not stop all day and i am sure the much bigger hawkies did not no what else they could do.
Boys lets keep up the good work .TRY; Bailey GOAL: Blake

U/9-3 TIGERS COLLIES # 2

Well boys we went down again but the effort the team put in was great. All we have to do now is start listening. Our defensive line has to move up faster we have to start talking to each other not bunching up. We cannot give up when they score a couple of tries we are tigers boys the time to start roaring. Although we are having fun learning ok, the time has come to work to together now lets do it. You are can be a great team, listen, learn, and have fun. Long way to go yet but we will get there. Come tigers lets show them ah team might think we are easy but we will roar and come out winners U/10-3 TIGERS 44 LCC 0 U/11-3 TIGERS 0 MINTO 30 U/12-1 TIGERS 0 B’DOGS 50 U/12-3 TIGERS 16 B’DOGS 22

U/13-2 TIGERS 10 BULLDOGS 30

The Bulldogs are a very big side that came down a division. We matched them for ¾ of the game but once they got on a roll it was to stop them and their big men. To our credit we never gave up. Another bit of magic from Mr. Luka to score a 50m try (4 tries in 3 games). Leading from the front was our skipper dean with big hits and strong runs to score our 2nd try. Great team effort keep it up boys..!I would like to send out a special thanks to Cameron (18th man) for sitting out For a game. U/14-2 TIGERS 52 BULLDOGS 0

Well, it was another dominant win for the boys as they took on the Bulldogs in the Ingleburn local derby. The first half was solid, but lacked our typical go forward. The second half saw the boys take it up a gear, leaving the Dogs in their wake. It was another week of improvers, with Patrick Irwin, Santo Catalano and Hayden Hurtardo turning in very solid performances, which they will need to build on each week as we come across some of the stronger teams in the comp. Once again, our two props, Skipper, Blaine Rico and Brendan Gohari decimated the opposition with some line breaking efforts any NRL club would have been proud of. Blaine crossed the line twice and Brendan also got a couple. At this rate, they’ll have their membership to the front rowers club torn up in front of them. Other solid performances from Hayden Ward, Adam Booth, Dylan Maher and John Flanagan complemented another leadership role from Brendon (Benji) Salcedo. One young man who played his heart out again was Dylan Sheslow, who had another blinder and continues to impress with his overall commitment to training and his on field effort. No doubt some tough games ahead, so we will need to lift, but there’s no reason why we can’t make it happen. U/15-1 TIGERS 50 CAMPBELLTOWN CITY 0 The opposition was weakened with there best 2 players out had they have played it would have taken longer to have the mercy rule enforced just 7 minutes into the 2nd half. We had a lot of one out stuff that isn’t our game plain. The boys however didn’t play bad but did drop there standard of play to previous efforts or it may be the amount of injuries we already have we did look like a chemist shop running out with the massive amount of strapping tap required just to field a side. It was Good to see Brett Hughes get so involved well-done big fella. Tries Solo 3 Normie 2 J.Starr 1 Bostock 1 Mussett 1 Hassan 1 Adam Alphabet 7 from 8 3 from the side line great kicking effort.
