U/6 Tigers 10 Hinchinbrook 30
A good game by all the boys even through we went down by 30 to 10 we proved we can score tries but we need to work on learning to tackle properly. Rhys won the tackling trophy this week with sum fantastic tackling and Dean won the MacDonald's award so remember boy's the most important thing is to keep having fun as Fiona And I are having lots fun coaching. Thank you to dean's mum for helping with the scoring on game day. U/7 Tigers 8 Warriors 24 R2 ReportWell, what a actioned packed game this was!!
All boys turned up with the enthusiasm that was required to make this game a great encounter. Despite being denied a win, all the boys played an outstanding game. Congratulations to Jarrod, scoring 2 tries in the game.
It is early times yet, with plenty more games ahead. Hopefully, next week will see a win our way!
Boys, keep up the good work and practice those tackles around the legs. Just remember, they can't run without legs. Jarrod Medallion and Tyler McDonalds award

Both Hinchinbrook and our boys went into this game with two wins from as many games, it was a match up. Whilst our boys came away with the points it was an average performance. Fighting and a lack or discipline whilst in possession resulted in more mistakes than we made in the previous two weeks. To keep winning games boys we need to support each other, encourage each other, play our positions and above all else play as a team. In defence the boys were outstanding, the forwards went forward as one and the backs swept well and defended well. Special mention to both Lachlan and James who pulled off some try saving tackles, and Blake running in three tries. A very average performance this week guys. You have the potential to be a great football team. Let’s work together and enjoy our footy and leave the fighting at home. Tries: Blake 3, Issac 2 James 2, Goals James and Lachlan. Well boys another great game against a very determined team but you all stuck it out and come away with a very gutsy win .I could see improvements from all the boys .I especially liked the way you all got in and congratulated each other when the tries were scored or someone made a great tackle or run .We need to get rid of all the little mistakes and respect the ball a lot more this will make our game a lot better. Lets start focusing on training hard and erasing as many mistakes as we can so we can keep our unbeaten record intact.

Keep your heads up boys you are trying hard and you will get better has the season goes on. Listen to your coach and work together as a team. Most importantly you must listen to the ref at all times. Club Coach DarcyU/10-3 Tigers 36 Collies Nil
Another strong performance by the boys this week, in both attack and defence. In the first half we had the majority of possession, and we capitalised on this by racing away to 26 – 0 lead by half time. Our defence was a big turn around from last week, and the same can be said about our attitude. Last week we let Minto intimidate us, but this week our defence intimidated Collies out of the game. In the second half we were forced to defend for back to back sets after a few offside penalties in a row and a couple of high tackles. But despite this our line was only broken once just on full time. The final score was 36 – 0. Good game boys!!! U/11-3 Tigers – 20 Hinchinbrook - Nil Where to start? Our first win of the year (trials included). What a great effort from all the boys today. There is sometimes good reason to be concerned about the game following a bye, no matter who the opposition is. But our guys played with full intent and some of the skill they are yet to fully show. We were well on top in the attack over all our previous games – the forwards made ground with each set and positioned play for the backs to have space. Must congratulate Michael and Shaun in their guiding of the team around the field and, in ensuring the sharing of the workload among all players. Looking at the result, the most pleasing thing is the “NIL” score against us. Defensively, in the main, the boys played with a good line and showed some line speed as well. Some very good pressure was put on our opponents from the markers and this forced Hinchinbrook into a few errors. We were effective with cover defence, the boys scurrying a few times to help bring down an opponent who’d broken through the line. And that was just great stuff. Great game from a great team effort -- Well done boys. A rematch of last year’s grand final in division 2 seen us win our 1st game in division 1. We lead early and had a couple of tries disallowed but we stuck together and game away with the win. We need to listen to our instruction and carry them out on the field. U/12-3 Tigers 24 Mac Fields 24 U/12-3 TIGERS 50 ESA 0 R2 Report WELL, WELL, WELL. What a turn around from last week. The boys knew they had to step up from that performance & they did it in style. They trained hard on their defence all week & the results were evident. We dominated ESA the entire game scoring 10 tries & kicking 5 goals for a score of 50-0 in our favour. A great game was had by all the guys and it’s hard to separate them it was truly a team effort with our forwards laying the platform with some great direction from Jacob #7 & our backs finally found some direction with Jesse at #6. Stephen, Josh M & Tyso each bagged a try, Jess & Abanoub scoring a double & BIG Charlie boy brining home a hat trick with goals going to Josh M, Charles, Adam, David, & Jye. This game was an indication of how you boys can really play, by hard training, come greater results. Keep up the good work and well done. GREAT GAME GUYS Matt & coaching staffU/13-2 TIGERS 10 HINCHINBROOK 8
2 Wins in a row, a wholehearted performance in attack and defence. Under pressure from the start, even from before kick-off due to the change in Starting times, but the boys stood up and stuck together as a team. A change of Tactics as most of the boys played school footy during the week. We ran it wide on most plays And it paid off with a great team try scored by Paul, 2nd try by Mr. Luka with a chip and a re-gather 10 metres out to score. A great team effort, keep it up boys!!! Thanks to the support team for keeping their cool, getting the boys ready for kick-off at such short notice. We took the field against a side which knocked us out of last year’s semi finals. We had a massive physiological challenge to get over this side. Good games were had by all. Lets keep up our undefeated record.U/15-1 TIGERS 22 Ashcroft 8
This was a game that would see us up against a side that hadn’t been beaten in 18 months and last year’s premiers of division 1. We started well by scoring early under the post with the mumma move very executed by Jake Ryan and finished off by Adam Alphabet giving us a 6 nil led we then kicked a penalty goal from 35 out and causing the Ashcroft bench to get upset. We then scored from a solo scrum move and solo scored it. On the half time bell they scored out wide due to our outside backs not moving up however it left us leading 12 – 4. Our completion rate was near perfect being 9 from 11. We came back from the halftime break and let them get over us for a while but not letting them across our line. Our completion rate was crap in this half 5-12 however we managed to score a couple of good tries and they again only scored from our mistake. We are starting to jell as a side and can go far if we keep our heads and train harder and smarter overall a great game with us playing mostly to our game plain. Every player had ago that’s all I ask. Players Player Solo Alone B&F Points 3 Solo, 2 Jake Ryan 1 Sonny Bristow. Special Mention and welcome return to Chris Bostock good game. Thanks to Dylan Maher for playing up. I cant resist in letting you all no NORMIE MASON PLAYED THE GAME IN MAKE UP he had a special photo shoot with his lovely girl friend Mari prior to the game and forget to take his MAKE UP OFF. THIS WIN PUTS US ON THE TOP OF THE TABLE well done a great team effort. WINNERS NEVER GIVE UP GIVE UPS NEVER WINU/16-2 Tigers 4 Collies 40
Although the boys played well overall it was unfortunate to see the side compound and let in some soft tries late in the game. After producing their best half off football this season we were only down 10-4 at halftime to the competition favourites and a big chance of securing a victory if we continued to work hard as a team. It was the team effort that saw us level the score with some beautiful offloads and supporting play resulting in a wonderful try by Joel Badgette in the corner and at that stage we looked the better team. Unfortunately we feel away late in the second half with the extra effort being non existent. While the boys slugged away it was obvious that the intensity had dropped and the opposition smelt it immediately. If we are to be a force we cannot let the other teams have their way with us even if it is apparent that we can't win the game. We need to gain respect from the opposition by never letting up and continue to punish them no matter what the score, especially on our home turf where we MUST DEMAND RESPECT, not have the other team laugh as they head back to halfway after another soft try. It wasn't all doom and gloom and the improvement was noticeable. While every player had an exceptional first half I was especially pleased with those that didn't let up. Special mention to Luke Blackstone, Ashley Little, Aaron Marshall and John Fiseris who battled away after having a broken tooth ....ouch. TRIES: Joel Badgette GOALS: 0/1 George Teauvere Congratulations to the boys below from our U/15-1 team who were in the West Tigers South West Sydney Academy of Sport U/15 off Season Program Ben O’Keefe, Hassan Musleh, Tan Huynh, Normie Mason
