Changes
Key: Additions Deletions
The season of 2006 saw all but 4 of our eligible 11 teams make it to the Semi Final series from that we had 2 teams in the Grand Final, one Premier and 1 Runner-Up team. The teams that made the Grand Final were treated to the thrill of playing on the Campbelltown Stadium where the West's Tigers play their NRL Home games, a thrill that stays with not only the children but team helpers, mothers, fathers and families.
The club continues to grow in numbers of players and teams, season 2006 for the first time in a number of years we fields an A grade side which was no mean feat to do so as it is very hard to start a team in this grade basically from scratch. A huge debt of gratitude there goes to David Marsh, the General Manager and Directors of the Ingleburn RSL Club fro their support.
Toward the end of this season a number of parents and players were looking for a new image for the club, one which perhaps keeps with the new style of Rugby League. As such a vote was taken and the members of the Club have now decided to rename the club logo from "Burners" to "TIGERS". It is hoped that this change will attract more players and give the Club an updated image. We still however remain RSL players whatever the logo may say.
The committee of the club strives to ensure local children are given the opportunity to play league in well ordered family atmosphere. We try to ensure that players have the best coaches and assistance that we can give them.
We look forward to season 2007 with all its challenges, hard work and good times.
Paul Doyon.
